How the Program Works
- Registration Deadline will be August 28, 2026
- Matching Day: September 1, 2026🗓️
Program Timeline & Commitment:
Girls commit to exchanging 3 letters and 2 greeting cards with their matched senior pen pal over the fall season:

Sept 13 (Grandparents Day): Kickoff with a handmade greeting card!

October: Send Letter #1 (and receive a reply!)

November: Send Letter #2 (and receive a reply!)

December: Send Letter #3 (and receive a reply!)

January: Wrap up the official program with a New Year / Holiday card!
(After January, continuing to write is purely optional and at the discretion of the participants!)

Program will begin September 1st.
Girls will commit to send 3 letters and 2 cards beginning with Grandparents Day, September 13 with one letter per month in October, November and December and concluding with a New Years/Holiday card.
After that, continuing to write it strictly optional and on a case by case basis
You will have everything you need here to learn about writing and mailing a letter.
