WHY LETTERSETGO?
Our Goal
Girl Scouts 'Adopt' Grandparents to write letters and correspond with.
Girls will commit to send 3 letters and 2 cards beginning with Grandparents Day, September 13 with one letter per month in October, November and December and concluding with a New Years/Holiday card. After that, continuing to write it strictly optional and on a case by case basis.
Our Girl Scout sisters will be matched with a senior from our partner senior living communities and active adult centers.
Seniors will be paired through a questionaire to optimize conversational symetry. Seniors will be 'adopted' to receive and respond to 3 letters through the latter part of this year beginning with Grandparents Day and ending in the new year. After that, continuing to write it strictly optional and on a case by case basis.
